London Spirit vs Welsh Fire Predictions

The Spirit have started with two losses on the bounce, but they have a stronger side than the Fire and should be able to knock the Welsh side over to claim their first win of the season.

London Spirit’s Michael Pepper has scored 120*, 27, 20 & 16 in his last 5 innings.
London Spirit’s Adam Rossington hit five sixes in his 78 off 49 balls against Surrey.
Welsh Fire’s Tom Abell has scored 47*, 29, 11* & 16 in his last 4 innings.
Welsh Fire’s Tom Kohler-Cadmore has scored 43*, 20, 18 & 22 in his last 5 innings.

Head-to-Head

The Fire have won two of the three matches between the two sides, including the last meeting, in 2023, which they won by six wickets.

London Spirit Form

The Spirit have lost their opening two matches by a combined 10 wickets, the second loss coming against the Phoenix with just one ball to spare.

The Spirit’s top-order fell flat and they were in tatters at 64/6 off 61 balls before Liam Dawson (36) and Andrew Russell (37) gave the innings a boost to reach 127/7 off their 100 balls.

Daniel Worrall (2/15) and Olly Stone (2/14) reduced the Phoenix to 20/4, but the lower-middle-order saw them home with three wickets and one ball to spare.

London Spirit Team News

The Spirit need their batters and bowlers to step up to their full potential in order to get onto a winning run.

Welsh Fire Form

The Fire started the season with an eight-wicket win over the Originals, before losing their second match to the Invincibles by 10 runs.

Jake Ball picked up two top-order wickets to finish with figures of 3/24 after the Invincibles stuttered their way to 113/9 off their 100 balls.

Opener Tom Kohler-Cadmore (22) and David Payne (28) were the only Fire batters to pass 16 as they were restricted to 103/8 off their 100 balls.
