The Cheetahs are bottom of the Currie Cup table but do have a game in hand. Should they win this weekend they could jump to fifth, depending on other results.

It has been a strange season for the Free State side. Many expected them to challenge for the title, and they may yet do that. COVID infections has cost them dearly but there will be confidence having beaten Western Province convincingly in their previous match.

The Cheetahs last match was two weeks ago. They lost 47-30 at home to the Sharks in what was a shocking defensive performance.
