Benetton are currently 10th on the URC table with four wins and six defeats. They are still within reach of a top eight finish but will need to get some results in the latter half of the season, particularly at home.
The Italian outfit has a decent home record although their consistency has come into question this season. However, in the European Challenge Cup in mid-January, Benetton thrashed the Dragons at home and beat Lyon away.
Upon their return to URC action last weekend, Benetton went down 17-8 away to Cardiff. The result will not disappoint them, however, not managing to pick up a losing bonus point could prove costly later on.
Scarlets Form
Scarlets are in the midst of another poor season and are currently second from bottom on 13 points, just one point clear of Zebre.
The Welsh side have won just three times in nine games this season and have a -66 points difference. However, that said, they did get a confidence boosting victory last weekend at home when they defeated Ulster 27-22.
Prior to that, Scarlets had lost four in a row, including two Challenge Cup games against Northampton and Pau.
