Glasgow Form
Glasgow are currently top of the URC table with 39 points, three clear of the Stormers who have a game in hand. The Scottish outfit has won their last eight matches in all competitions.
In the European Champions Cup recently, Glasgow continued their good form, beating Clermont away and comfortably seeing off Saracens at home.
Prior to those two results, Glasgow did the double on Scottish neighbours, Edinburgh before thrashing Zebre. Last weekend, the Warriors had a tough fixture against Zebre away from home but came through with a 26-21 success.
Munster Form
Munster are fifth on the URC table with seven wins and three defeats in 10 matches. On the surface, that is a good start, but their form has dropped off substantially after a sublime start to their season.
In all competitions, Munster have lost four of their last five games. That run began with a 13-8 home loss to Leinster before going down 28-3 at Ulster. In the Champions Cup, Munster suffered a 27-25 away loss to Toulon and went down 31-29 at home to Castres.
Last week, Munster, while not very convincing, got back to winning ways, beating the Dragons 22-20 at home. The performance was not very good and vast improvement will be required this weekend.
