Portsmouth vs Blackburn

Blackburn soaked up four defeats and one draw from their last four matches but bounced back with a 3-1 home win over Millwall. Their form on the road is decent, with three draws and two wins in five before losing their last match on the road 2-1.

Portsmouth’s home form is shaky, with just one win in four and five defeats in 10. Home and away they have just two wins in 10, with 10 goals for and 15 against, so they aren’t defending a fortress. I’m backing a battling draw with neither side able to dominate.

QPR vs Preston

Preston look like serial losers at the moment, taking seven defeats from eight and netting just six times. On the road they’ve lost seven in a row with three goalless performances.

QPR have three wins and a draw in six at home and have lost just once in their last seven matches home and away but have been goalless three times, so with neither side looking too hot in front of goal I’m backing under three goals in the match.

Wrexham vs Southampton

Wrexham’s end-of-season dip has continued into the new season, with just one win in their last 10 matches. They were also hammered 6-0 away to West Ham in their last match. They’ve got just two points from their last four matches at home so their confidence will be low.

The Saints travel well, losing just one of their last nine matches on the road while picking up five wins. Home and away they’ve won six of their last 10. They’ve netted 14 times in their last five matches while conceding just five times, winning three and drawing two of those matches. Their form is hot so it’s not a tough call to back them.

Lincoln vs Swansea

Eighth-placed Lincoln have been tight at the back but have failed to break the net, scoring and conceding six goals in their seven matches, with three wins. They’ve picked up two points in their three home matches since being promoted, scoring just twice.

Swansea have lost just once in the League, winning four of their seven matches and scoring 11:5 this season. They’ve won two of their three matches on the road in the League and are looking strong in second place. I’m backing this as a win for Swansea with plenty of goals, as well as throwing my hat in the ring for Zan Vipotnik to score for a third match in a row.

I’m backing a draw between Portsmouth and Blackburn, under three goals between QPR and Preston, a win for Southampton over Wrexham, and a goal for Zan Vipotnik against Lincoln.
