Portugal Form

Portugal progressed to the round of 32 at the 2026 FIFA World Cup after settling for a share of the spoils in their final Group K match against Colombia last weekend, drawing 0-0.

A Seleção had 75% possession and nine shots in the game, with three attempts on target.

Before that, Seleção das Quinas drew 1-1 with DR Congo in their opening group-stage match before thrashing Uzbekistan 5-0.

A Seleção have won three of their last five matches, with two draws. They scored ten goals and conceded three.

Portugal have not set the World Cup alight yet, but they have a solid record against Croatia in recent meetings, with three victories in five matches, one defeat and one draw, giving them the edge needed to win and advance to the round of 16.

Croatia Form

Croatia defeated Ghana in their final group match last weekend, winning by two goals to one to finish second in Group L.

The Vatreni had 53% possession and eight shots in the match, with four attempts on target.

Croatia will be pleased to have reached the knockout stages of the tournament, but they face a tricky test against Portugal, as their opponents are unbeaten in their last eight matches, including five victories and three draws.
