PSL 2025-26 Awards Announced - Orlando Pirates Scoop the Major Prizes
The 2025/26 Premier Soccer League (PSL) awards saw Orlando Pirates clinch nearly all major honours. Relebohile Mofokeng, now at Royal Union Saint-Gilloise in Belgium, emerged as the star, securing PSL Footballer of the Season, Young Player of the Season, and Players’ Player of the Season. Coach Abdeslam Ouaddou earned Coach of the Season, while other Pirates also won top individual accolades. Golden Arrows' Sede Dion was top scorer, and the late Jayden Adams (Sundowns) received the Chairman’s Award. The Pirates’ dominance highlights an era-defining season.

The PSL announced the winners of the 2025/26 Premier Soccer League awards on Monday evening. Orlando Pirates scooped all of the major awards.
Mofokeng Cleans Up
Mamelodi Sundowns’ Lucas Ribeiro Costa won the PSL Footballer of the Season last term, but departed Sundowns ahead of this season. That opened the door for Rele Mofokeng to scoop three huge honours.
Mofokeng, who has since left Orlando Pirates to sign for Belgian club Royal Union Saint-Gilloise, won arguably the three biggest awards on the night. He scooped the PSL Footballer of the Season, Betway Premiership Young Player of the Season (under 21) and the Betway Premiership Players’ Player of the Season.
The Betway Premiership Coach of the Season went to Abdeslam Ouaddou of Orlando Pirates.
