PSL Announces May Monthly Awards - Pirates Coach and Star Win Accolades
The Premier Soccer League has named its Betway Premiership Monthly Awards winners for May, recognising stellar performances from Orlando Pirates and Sekhukhune United. Orlando Pirates’ coach Abdeslam Ouaddou was honored as Coach of the Month after leading his team to end a 14-year trophy drought. Sipho Chaine, also from Pirates, earned Player of the Month for keeping four clean sheets. Sekhukhune United’s Bright Ndlovu secured Goal of the Month with a remarkable long-range strike, underscoring individual talent on display.

The Premier Soccer League has confirmed the Betway Premiership Monthly Awards winners for May.
The accolades went to representatives of Orlando Pirates and Sekhukhune United.
Coach of the Month
Orlando Pirates head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou walked away with the Coach of the Month accolade.
Ouaddou guided the Buccaneers to the PSL trophy after a 14-year drought. In May, the coach picked up three wins and a draw from four matches.
Player of the Month
This award went to Pirates' goalkeeper Sipho Chaine. The goalkeeper did not concede a goal in four matches.
He helped Pirates to a clean sheet on the final day to beat Orbit College 2-0 and seal the PSL title.
Goal of the Month
This honour went to Sekhukhune United’s Bright Ndlovu. His outstanding long-range strike against Siwelele won the award.
Ndlovu excelled at the start of the season at centre back before deputising up front following an injury to Bradley Grobler.
