Wide Areas Boosted
Van Wyk first made his name at Stellenbosch, although he was not always a regular in the XI. A move to SV Ried materialised after German-South African coach Moritz Kossman was appointed as Ried's assistant coach.
Sundowns have been targeting the wide player over the last two transfer windows. His best position is as a left winger, but Van Wyk can play as a striker, a false nine, or as a number ten.

“This is one of the biggest clubs on the continent. A club with a rich history, high standards and a winning culture.
“To the supporters, your passion for this club is unmatched and I cannot wait to experience that on match day.
“I’m excited for this journey. My name is Antonio van Wyk and I’m proud to be Yellow.”
