France are tipped to cover the -24.5 handicap when they host Fiji in the Nations Championship. Les Bleus have dominated the head-to-head, winning 11 of 12 encounters, and enter the match in strong form after recent victories over Australia and Japan. France lead the Northern Hemisphere table, while Fiji are winless in the competition and sit last in the Southern Hemisphere standings. With France’s home advantage and Fiji’s poor recent record, the hosts are favoured to win well.

France vs Fiji Predictions

France are on a winning streak against Fiji and have been in solid form. Fiji are winless in the Nations Championship and have historically struggled against France.

  • France have won 3 of their 4 matches.
  • France have won 3 consecutive games against Fiji.
  • Fiji have lost 4 of their last 6 fixtures.

Head to Head

France have a commanding lead over Fiji, with 11 victories to one in 12 meetings.

France Form

France fell short in their opening Nations Championship match against New Zealand, losing 34-32 before bouncing back with a 42-26 victory over Australia and a 42-15 win against Japan.

The French are first in the Northern Hemisphere table with 12 points from two games.

Les Bleus won the recent 2026 Six Nations Championship earlier this year. They beat Ireland 36-14, Wales 54-12, Italy 33-8, and lost 50-40 to Scotland before edging rivals England 48-46.

France will fancy their chances of securing all the points on offer, as they have the advantage of playing at home for this fixture and have an impressive record against Fiji, having defeated their opponents in 11 of their last 12 meetings.

Fiji Form

Fiji have yet to have any success in the 2026 Nations Championship. They lost their opener to Wales 39-24, were thumped 73-8 by England, and suffered a 33-17 defeat against Scotland.

The Pacific Islanders are last in the Southern Hemisphere standings with no points after three rounds.

The Flying Fijians faced Canada in the 2026 Pacific Nations Cup in September, winning 45-29 before losing to Japan in the final, 20-15.

Fiji have had a poor start to the competition and face a tough assignment against France, as they have lost three consecutive times to the current Six Nations champions.
