They opened with a 1–0 home defeat against AmaZulu before playing out an entertaining 3–3 draw away to Polokwane City.

Their only victory came against Marumo Gallants, whom they beat 3–1, but they failed to build on that result and subsequently lost 1–0 to Golden Arrows.

A goalless draw away to Durban City followed before Stellenbosch were held 1–1 by Sekhukhune United last weekend. Bradley Grobler scored a late equaliser to rescue a point.

Stellenbosch are now three league matches without a victory and have scored just once during that run.
