Inter Milan have had a strong season but have started to struggle recently. This will be a huge test for the Italian giants, but given Barca's goal scoring threat at home, I am backing them to win.

Barcelona have won 11 of their last 14 matches and are scoring a lot of goals. They got past Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League quarter-finals, a 4-0 victory in Spain followed by a 3-1 defeat in Germany.

Hansi Flick’s side have played their last two La Liga games at home, beating Celta Vigo 4-3 after finding themselves 3-1 down in the second half. They had 78% possession and 40-4 shots in a 1-0 win against Mallorca, Dani Olmo’s goal the difference.

The Catalans did it the hard way in the Copa del Rey final on Saturday. Pedri put them ahead but they were 2-1 down with 10 minutes remaining, Ferran Torres’ late strike taking it to extra time where Jules Koundé found the net to earn a 3-2 victory.

Inter Milan Form

Inter Milan were on fire this season but the wheels have fallen off since they got past Bayern Munich 4-3 on aggregate in the quarter-finals. They have lost three straight games and severely dented their treble aspirations.

Simone Inzaghi’s side lost 1-0 at Bologna which allowed Napoli to join them at the top of Serie A. Inter had drawn 1-1 against AC Milan in the Coppa Italia semi-final first leg and slumped to a 3-0 second leg defeat at San Siro.

Inter lost 1-0 against Roma on Sunday and can have no complaints after ending with 1.10-2.80 expected goals. The result saw Napoli take a three point lead in the title race.
