EUT20 Belgium Predictions - 13 June 2026

Last updated: 1 hour ago

The latest action in the EUT20 Belgium league saw the Antwerp Anchors securing a win, demonstrating their form and cohesion. By contrast, Akcel United faced a challenging match versus Bruges, indicating areas that require improvement despite eventually clinching victory. The contrasting outcomes highlight both teams' current standings: Antwerp Anchors are strengthening their position, while Akcel United will need to step up their game to maintain momentum in the tournament.

  • With three wins on the bounce the Anchors should be too strong for the Gladiators.
  • Akcel United and Bruges are set for a tough battle but I’m backing United.
  • The final of the inaugural EUT20 Belgium will be played on Sunday 14 June 2026.

EUT20 Belgium Predictions - 13 June 2026

Antwerp Anchors vs Ghent Gladiators

The Anchors enjoyed a good five-wicket win over, followed by a 46-run win over the Red Lions. They completed their hat-trick of wins by beating Akcel United by 39 runs in their last completed match. Martin Guptill hit eight sixes and nine fours in his 58-ball 114, with support from JJ Smit (40* off 17 balls).

Moeen Ali (3/16, econ 4.00) starred with the ball as the Anchors completed a 39-run win. Ali has been one of the stars of the tournament, scoring 72* and 26 in his last three knocks, along with picking up 1/3 and 3/16 in his last two matches. The Anchors’ star all-rounder David Wiese also has two three-fors in his eight wickets this season.

Ghent have played just one match and have been frustrated with five rained-off matches. That one match ended in a tie with Bruges, with both sides scoring 166 off their 20 overs before Bruges won the Super Over. Five Ghent bowlers each picked up a single wicket, with Bernard Scholtz (1/2, econ 6.00) the most economical.

Ghent’s top-order put up a good chase, with four of their top five putting runs on the board. Josh Brown (25), Temba Bavuma (33), Ben Manenti (24) made starts but it was Sam Harper with 75 off 48 balls (seven fours, three sixes) who starred with the bat.

Hard to know how Ghent will perform, so the Anchors are the sensible bet for this match as they have already picked up three wins.

Akcel United Brussels vs JB Bruges

Akcel United are second on the table after picking up two wins and one defeat in their six matches, with three rained-out matches. Khalid Ahmadi has returned figures of 2/35, 2/11 and 2/43 in his five matches, while Dale Phillips (17*, 42* and 40), Alex Hales (10, 15 and 27) and Jason Roy (40 and 39) have starred with the bat in the series.

Rassie van der Dussen has scored 24, 37 and 66 in his last four innings for Bruges and Nikhil Chaudhary has scored 47, 34 and 13. Gulsan Jha scored 21, 29 and 20, while Adam Rossington scored 37 against the Anchors in his only innings in the series. Thomas Kaber has snapped up eight wickets - including two three-fors -  for Bruges, with Lalit Rajbanshi taking 2/17 against the Red Lions.

Bruges have won two and lost two of their four completed matches while United have won two and lost just one. It’s a tight one to call but I’d back United as they seem to have more players in form.
