Comoros vs Botswana Predictions

Comoros won their opener while Botswana have yet to play. However, Botswana do have some good recent form, so I’m tipping this to end level.

Comoros have won their last 2 matches 1-0.
Comoros have lost 3 of their last 5 matches.
Botswana are unbeaten in 5 of their last 6 matches.

These two have met three times with Botswana winning two and Comoros one.

Comoros Form

Comoros will be looking to challenge for the COSAFA Cup title this season considering the strength for their squad.

Their form coming into the tournament was not good, losing three of their previous four matches against Malawi twice and Mali in the World Cup qualifiers. They did manage to beat Chad 1-0 at home in late March.

The COSAFA Cup kicked off in good fashion though as Comoros beat Zambia 1-0 in their opener. The win came courtesy of a 31st minute goal by Ibrahim Madi.

Botswana Form

This will be Botswana’s first game of the tournament as their pool only has three teams. They are in decent form with a good run of results.

During the World Cup qualifiers in March, Botswana lost 3-1 away to Algeria, not a result that would concern them given the strength of the opponents. They bounced back to beat Somalia 2-0 at home.

Prior to that, in late 2024, Botswana drew against Egypt and Mauritania.
