Siwelele vs Golden Arrows Predictions - Arrows to Shoot Down Siwelele

Golden Arrows are tipped to win against Siwelele, owing to their strong defensive record—9 clean sheets in 11 matches, while Siwelele have lost four of their last five. Siwelele recently sacked coach Lehlohonolo Seema due to poor form and will field a debutant goalkeeper. Arrows, despite missing some defensive players, remain favorites thanks to their overall consistency. The key conclusion: an away win for Arrows is a strong prediction, possibly with a clean sheet.

Siwelele vs Golden Arrows Predictions

Siwelele are decent at home but their confidence is very low right now. Arrows are solid at the back and I see them taking an away win in this match.

Key Stats – Arrows Backed for Victory

  • Siwelele have lost 4 of their last 5 matches.
  • Siwelele have failed to score in 3 of their last 5 matches.
  • Golden Arrows have won 2 of their last 4 matches.
  • Golden Arrows have kept 9 clean sheets in their last 11 matches.

Head to Head – Siwelele Won First Meeting

These clubs faced off for the first time in August 2025 as Siwelele won 3-1.

The return fixture in April 2026 ended in a 0-0 draw.

Siwelele Form – Four Defeats in Five

Siwelele have lost four of their last five matches. That run of results saw coach Lehlohonolo Seema sacked.

The season began with a 2-2 home draw vs TS Galaxy before a disappointing 1-0 loss at newly promoted Milford. They lost 2-0 at AmaZulu and could only draw 1-1 at home to Chippa United.

Their last two matches have ended in defeats. They lost 3-2 away at Kaizer Chiefs as they put up a good fight, before a 3-0 loss in midweek to Mamelodi Sundowns in a one-sided affair.

Arrows Form – Just Two Defeats in 13

Arrows were on an 11-match unbeaten run with nine straight clean sheets. Their last two matches have seen two defeats, both vs Mamelodi Sundowns.

Golden Arrows beat Kaizer Chiefs 1-0 in the MTN8 quarter-finals and drew 0-0 at Durban City. A 0-0 draw at TS Galaxy preceded a 1-0 win at Mamelodi Sundowns in the MTN8 semi-final first leg.

Arrows beat Stellenbosch 1-0 at home in the PSL before a 3-2 home defeat to Sundowns in the MTN8 semi-final second leg. Their last match saw a 2-1 home league defeat to Sundowns.

Predicted Lineups & Team News

Siwelele (4-4-2): February; Mfolozi, Sesane, Ndebele, Baliti; Jeza, Kobedi, Mokhuoane, Potsane; Issah, Pule.

Siwelele are set to hand a debut to goalkeeper Jody February after his arrival on loan.

Grant Margeman’s absence is a big blow in midfield due to injury. Siphesihle Jeza is set to be recalled in attack.

Golden Arrows (4-3-3): Maova; Shezi, Agnikoi, Mantshiyane, Maluleke; Dlamini, Zwane, Maxwele; Gasa, Dion, Sithole.

Arrows are without captain Ayanda Jiyane in defence due to injury.

Ntandoyenkosi Mabaso is doubtful in defence so Themba Mantshiyane is set to deputise.

Verdict

I'm tipping an Arrows win with a clean sheet.
