Ghana Women Form

Ghana cruised to a comfortable victory in their opening Women's Africa Cup of Nations Group D match against Cape Verde on Wednesday, winning 2-0.

The Black Queens had 64% possession and 26 shots in the match, with six attempts on target.

Before that result, Ghana played three friendly internationals against the Ivory Coast, Tanzania, and Malawi in July, winning 1-0, drawing 0-0, and winning 4-0, respectively.

The Black Queens have won four of their last five fixtures, along with one draw. They scored 11 goals and conceded none.

Ghana have been on top of their game lately, often winning their matches, and they have a solid record against Cameroon in recent meetings, with two wins, a draw, and one defeat.

Cameroon dominated proceedings in their WAFCON opener against Mali on Wednesday, but secured the points through an own goal, winning 2-1.

The Indomitable Lionesses had 67% possession and 17 shots in the game, with four attempts on target.

In July, Cameroon took on Benin in a warm-up international before the start of the tournament, winning 3-1.
