Today, 3 April, Round 40 of the 2025/26 English Championship takes place. With promotion and relegation races hotting up, sides featured are Middlesbrough vs Millwall, West Brom vs Wrexham, Leicester vs Preston, Stoke vs Sheffield Wednesday.

The matches taking place on 3 April is as follows:

Middlesbrough vs Millwall
West Brom vs Wrexham
Leicester vs Preston
Stoke vs Sheffield Wednesday

Millwall have conceded just three goals in five on the road while scoring 10. They are also undefeated in five matches on the road, winning four. Boro haven’t won in their last four matches, scoring just three goals, so the momentum is with Millwall to snatch a big win in a spicy top 4 clash.

West Brom have played out five draws in their last 10 matches, winning just one of their last seven home games, but have lost just once in five at home. Wrexham have lost three of their last five matches, so they’re looking vulnerable to a side fighting against relegation.

Leicester are putting up a strong fight to get out of the relegation zone, losing just 2 of their last 7 matches, with 4 draws. They host Preston who are mid-table with little left to play for and have lost 4 and drawn 2 of their last 6 matches on the road. This is a tough call, but I’m backing the fire in the Foxes to pull off a win.

It’s been a miserable season for Wednesday, who have lost 21 and drawn 4 of their last 25 matches. They have also lost their last 10 matches on the road, going goalless in 8 of their last 15 away matches. Stoke haven’t lost at home in their last 4 matches, scoring 10 goals, so they have a clear road to 3 points.

I am using Sportingbet SA as our accumulator option today.

Millwall Win - 4.40
West Brom Draw - 3.30
Leicester Win - 1.90
Stoke Win - 1.35

The four together as an accumulator will pay 37.24. A R50 stake will see you win R1,934.68.
