Siwelele will host Polokwane City in the Betway Premiership as both teams seek to reverse their difficult starts to the 2026/27 season. Siwelele are winless in seven matches, drawing all three at home, while Polokwane City have one win and are unbeaten in their last five meetings with Siwelele. Both sides’ form suggests another close encounter, with a 0-0 draw predicted.

Siwelele vs Polokwane City Predictions

Siwelele host Polokwane City on Sunday looking for their first victory of the 2026/27 Betway Premiership season.

The Bloemfontein side have endured a difficult start, collecting just three points from seven matches with three home draws. Their opponents have also struggled to get wins under the belt, so I am leaning towards a draw here.

  • Siwelele are without a win in 7 league matches this season.
  • Siwelele have drawn all 3 of their home league matches.
  • Siwelele have conceded 13 goals in 7 league matches.
  • Polokwane City have won just 1 of their 7 league matches.
  • Polokwane City have drawn 3 of their last 5 league matches.
  • Polokwane City are unbeaten in their last 5 meetings with Siwelele.

Head to Head

Polokwane City have enjoyed the better of the recent meetings between these sides, winning twice and drawing three times in their last five encounters.

The most recent meeting ended goalless in Polokwane in February, while Rise and Shine won 1–0 in Bloemfontein in August 2025.

Siwelele Form

Siwelele have made a disappointing start to the season, failing to win any of their opening seven league matches.

They began with a 2–2 home draw against TS Galaxy before losing successive away matches against Milford and AmaZulu.

A 1–1 home draw against Chippa United followed, but Siwelele then suffered consecutive defeats against Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns, losing 3–2 and 3–0 respectively.

Their most recent match ended in a 1–1 home draw against Golden Arrows in September. Siwelele have collected all three of their points at home but have yet to keep a clean sheet this season.

Polokwane City Form

Polokwane City have collected seven points from their opening seven league matches, recording one win, four draws and two defeats.

Rise and Shine began with a 2–1 away victory over Richards Bay before drawing 3–3 against Stellenbosch.

A 2–0 defeat away to Sekhukhune United followed, but Polokwane then went three matches unbeaten, drawing against Milford, Marumo Gallants and Kaizer Chiefs.

That run ended with a 1–0 home defeat against AmaZulu on 19 September.

Polokwane have now gone six league matches without a victory and will be looking to end that run in Bloemfontein.

Verdict

We are backing Polokwane City to take a point on the road against Siwelele. A 0-0 draw is predicted.
