Getafe vs Sevilla

Getafe were thrashed 4-0 at Athletic Club last weekend, extending a run in which they have managed one win in five league games. Their scoring record is a major concern: only five goals in 10 league matches. Sevilla defeated Osasuna 2-0 on Monday after recovering from a 4-1 defeat at Real Madrid. Their five-match sequence contains two victories, one draw and two defeats.

Sevilla have been more productive in front of goal but can be exposed defensively, making this a potentially awkward away assignment. On the evidence of Getafe's lack of scoring, an away victory is the most persuasive match-result selection.

Racing Santander vs Real Madrid

Real Madrid arrive after a crucial 2-1 victory at Barcelona, with Kylian Mbappe scoring both goals. That result followed wins over Sevilla and Villarreal, leaving the visitors with four victories in five league matches.

Racing Santander won 2-1 against Espanyol last weekend but have otherwise struggled, losing to Osasuna, Celta and Barcelona during their latest five. Their defence has conceded 26 times in 10 league games, the highest total in La Liga.

Madrid should create numerous scoring opportunities but their outright win price offers little standalone value. A higher goals threshold is more attractive given the disparity between the two sides.

Elche vs Valencia

Elche are steadily finding their feet in the top flight. Their 3-0 away win at Rayo Vallecano followed draws with Villarreal and Celta, giving them two wins and two draws from their last five league matches. Valencia are in trouble near the bottom of the table, with only six points from their 10 games. They lost 2-1 to Villarreal last weekend and have scored just seven league goals all season.

Elche have shown enough organisation to restrict stronger opponents while Valencia have struggled for confidence and consistent finishing. At home Elche offer a reasonable win selection at a worthwhile payout.

Athletic Club vs Real Sociedad

The Basque derby brings together two clubs moving in sharply different directions. Athletic Club demolished Getafe 4-0 last weekend with Inaki Williams among the scorers, but that was their first league win in five games and came on the back of a rescheduled 3-1 defeat at Levante.

Real Sociedad have won four league matches in succession by beating Levante, Malaga, Deportivo and Valencia. Their 2-1 victory over Levante last Sunday maintained the run and strengthened their European ambitions. San Mames will provide a demanding atmosphere, but Real Sociedad's momentum and greater attacking consistency make the away win an enticing, if risky, derby selection.
