The Royals bounced back from their first loss of the season, away to MI Cape Town, by returning the favour two days later by beating MI Cape Town in Paarl.

Paarl Royals racked up 162/3, with Jason Roy (58) and Jos Buttler (54) getting their side off to a great start.

MI Cape Town folded for the first time this season, as the Royals knocked them over for 103 in the 19th over. Bjorn Fortuin was superb in taking 3/15.
