MI Cape Town vs Durban's Super Giants Predictions

After kicking off with three wins, the Giants lost their next two matches on the bounce. MI Cape Town have lost three of their five matches, but put up superb all-round performances in their first four matches before a blowout with the bat against Paarl Royals.

MI Cape Town’s Ryan Rickelton has scored 87, 98, 58 & 94* in his last 5 innings.
MI Cape Town’s Rassie van der Dussen has scored 104, 41 & 41 in his last 4 innings.
Durban's Super Giants’ Heinrich Klaasen has scored 85, 13*, 64 & 31 in his last 5 innings.
Durban's Super Giants’ Wiaan Mulder 52 top-scored with 52* off 29 balls in the loss to Sunrisers.

Head-to-Head

The Super Giants have won all three matches between the two sides, including their 11-run win on the DLS method.

MI Cape Town Form

MI Cape Town made it two losses from three when they lost to the Royals in Paarl.

The Royals posted a decent score of 162/3 off their 20 overs, Nuwan Thushara picking up 2/27.

MI Cape Town slipped to 13/3, and four ducks from the top eight played a role in the visitors being rolled for 103 in 18.2 overs.

MI Cape Town Team News

Dewald Brevis has a top score of 10 in his five SA20 innings… but he has such talent that MI Cape Town are likely to keep faith with him for a few more matches.

Durban's Super Giants Form

The Super Giants lost ground on the top of the table after a pair of losses, the last of it by five wickets against the Sunrisers.

The Super Giants hit 159/7 off their 20 overs, Wiaan Mulder top-scoring with 52 off 29 balls after being moved down the order.

The Sunrisers raced to 163/5 with four balls to spare, despite a good spell from Marcus Stoinis (2/27).

Durban's Super Giants Team News

The Super Giants have a strong batting line up but it’s become inconsistent in the last two matches. They will be hoping for a better performance from all their batting stars.

Verdict

MI Cape Town v Durban's Super Giants

I am backing MI Cape Town to win. I am also backing Ryan Rickelton to top score for MI Cape Town.

Heinrich Klaasen is a good bet to top score for the Durban's Super Giants.
