Paarl Royals vs Joburg Super Kings Predictions

The Royals are chasing unbeaten Durban’s Super Giants’ grip on top spot, after the Royals claimed two wins over last season’s top side after the group stages, Pretoria Capitals. Joburg Super Kings have lost two of their three matches, with the third match abandoned due to rain.

Paarl Royals’ David Miller has scored 41 & 75* in his last 2 innings.
Paarl Royals’ Jos Buttler has scored 51, 55 & 39 in his last 5 innings.
Joburg Super Kings’ Reeza Hendricks has scored 85, 49, 52 & 38 in his last 9 whiteball innings.
Joburg Super Kings’ Leus du Plooy top-scored with 48 in the loss to MI Cape Town.

Head-to-Head

Paarl Royals won the first clash between the two sides last season by seven wickets, with the return fixture being abandoned due to rain.

Paarl Royals Form

The Royals made it two wins from two when they beat Pretorial Capitals twice in three days.

The Royals hit their stride with the bat, knocking up 210/3 off their 20 overs. David Miller (75* off 42 balls) and Mitchell Van Buuren (72* off 40 balls) did the damage with the bat.

The Capitals fell 10 runs short, ending on 200/7 off their 20 overs, Lungi Ngidi (4/39) doing the damage with the ball.

Paarl Royals Team News

Paarl Royals are in excellent form and are unlikely to make any changes to their team.

Joburg Super Kings Form

After their opening match was abandoned, the Super Kings lost their next two games on the bounce.

The Giants struggled to 145/8 off their 20 overs, Lizaad Williams (4/26) superb with the ball.

The Giants bowlers were superb in throttling the Super Kings to 108/9 off their 20 overs. Reeza Hendricks top-scored with 38 off 32 balls.

Joburg Super Kings Team News

Joburg Super Kings need to urgently hit their batting stride if they hope to make the playoffs.
